Our Gel Heel cushions simply need to be placed on top of the insole of your shoe to use. Remove the lining to reveal the self adhesive on the bottom of the cushions, and stick in place. You will never need to take them out again and they will not need to be cleaned due to sock residue sticking to the top. The surface on top is dry, not sticky like some heel cup designs.
